Items Not Allowed: The following items cannot be placed in the container (not limited to): Mattresses, Tires, and Prohibited Items. Construction dumpsters do not include concrete, brick, gravel, or very heavy debris. Heavy debris such as concrete, dirt, brick, gravel, or similar materials (varies by dumpster type).

You can typically dispose of common household junk, construction debris, renovation debris, and yard debris. Prohibited items often include tires, chemicals, and items containing Freon, such as refrigerators and certain air-conditioning equipment. If you are unsure about an item, tell us what you are throwing away and we can confirm whether the hauler will accept it.

Heavy debris requires special planning and may only be accepted in certain container sizes. Confirm the material type and weight allowance before loading.

All debris must remain below the top edge of the dumpster, with nothing sticking above the sides or hanging over the container. Heavy materials such as dirt, concrete, rock, or roofing debris may have lower fill limits due to weight restrictions. If you’re disposing of heavy debris, ask our team how full your dumpster can safely be loaded.

Every rental includes a specific weight allowance listed in the service agreement. The amount may vary by size, location, debris type and disposal facility.

The container is weighed at the landfill or transfer station after pickup. The official weight ticket shows the recorded load weight.

Your dumpster is weighed at the disposal facility. The container is weighed when it arrives and then weighed again after the debris is dumped. The difference between those weights determines the actual weight of your debris, which is used to calculate any applicable final charges.

An additional weight charge may apply when the recorded disposal weight exceeds the amount included in your rental agreement.
